About
During my time in service, I sustained injuries that made running daily difficult and painful. Needing to find a new form of consistent cardiovascular exercise, I stumbled into rowing during a CrossFit seminar. It was instant love/hate!!!! Total body, a great mix of sprint work and distance, aerobic and anaerobic, and just so much more. The only issue I found was the lack of connection I felt because of the footstraps. No one could imagine riding the Tour De France with regular pedals, or even straps, so why have we never added more secure methods to our rowing?
I used the principles learned during my years of schooling in Physiology, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, and my time as an elite level athlete, to develop a more biomechanically correct attachment and positioning. This is not to replace the need for accurate simulation for on-water rowing, but definitely changes ergometer rowing to a more correct power-production event.
Efficiency and effectiveness are two of my biggest addictions. It is my commitment to put all of the best ideas forward to make every ounce of your effort in your workout meet those two markers!
